Panda Napda

Who could possibly fall asleep in this position? I mean, it's one thing of you're a relatively small creature, like a sloth or a monkey, but a massively fat panda? His back-fat alone (and it IS a big male, in China) is threatening to break the branches that he's decided to call "mattress." He's so fat that he can use his own giant tummy as a pillow. But he's surprisingly flexible for a porker. Maybe I'm just jealous, though. If I could sleep in this position, then I'd never dread an overseas flight again!

  1. I can't imagine the satisfaction of the photographer to find a giant black and white furry ball suspended on a tiny tree branch. Had no idea they had such great balance and flexibility!
Does Tai Chi come from Panda bears then?

  2. It's amazing they can sleep like that! Even more amazing the branches will hold them. I've always wanted to cuddle a panda bear...maybe one day.

  3. You'd better go for a baby panda if you can, Alli Baba! The big ones look like toys, but they're really strong and quite aggressive! So sad!

  4. My mom says that he thinks he's a robin. Ha! Imagine what the other robins would think of him!
